It is happening again. Be on the alert for emails, texts or calls being sent in our priests' names asking for help. THESE EMAILS, TEXTS AND CALLS ARE A SCAM, SO DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM! I received an email the other day. I called the priest in person and he confirmed that he did not send the email.
Any text message, call, or email that asks for gift cards or help, outside of regular channels is almost always a scam no matter what the reason may be. If you ever receive such a call, text or email in the name of the cluster always call the cluster office first, to confirm. The cluster office phone number is in the header banner at the top of every web page on the cluster web site. Never call a phone number given in the call, text or email as that will be part of the scam. Never reply to a text or email. CALL THE CLUSTER OFFICE.
